The Wedding on the Hill started at the top of the hill with a visit to pin-up beauty Claudia from Deadly is the Female, who waited for the couple with a bottle of champagne and a pair of Vivienne Westwood shoes.
The happy couple then descended the hill getting many well wishes from local shops and patrons as they headed to Opal Lingerie, where Cassie fitted Jade with Fauve by Fantasie lingerie whilst the Groom grazed on chocolates.
Opal’s neighbour Truly Sopel popped open a bottle of pink champagne before inviting them into her shop where she selected one of her exclusively designed Jackets for the bride’s special day.
Although Annette at Boho was sad to miss the occasion, she left a gift behind her counter, a beautiful pearl and silver rose bracelet.
Brides and Belles, Frome’s experts in bridal wear then crowned the bride with a stunning tiara to compliment her Emporio Armani wedding dress.
Jodie and her team from Ye Olde Flower Shoppe, who specialise in wedding floristry, created the perfect bridal bouquet.
The couple lunched at the best altar, the pizza oven from At The Chapel – regular traders at St. Catherine’s Artisan Market.
Bride and Groom once again ascended Catherine Hill. On reaching the top of the hill Phil from The Little Red Café had a cappuccino for them to share before a wedding snap at the Valentine’s lamp.
They were then framed by Fay at The Art Works picture framing shop.
It was then time for the happy couple to cut the cake, and what a delicious cake it was, prepared and presented as a gift from the Garden Café.
The perfect day was celebrated with friends at The Griffin with a good pint of cider… after all, cider is the new champagne.
